Act – Lessons learned
Part of reviewing performance also means acting on any lessons learned.
This could mean acting on:
• The findings of any accident investigations and near-miss reports.
• Anything discovered during monitoring.
• Anything discovered during the review process.
• The results of any inspections.
Looking at what you have learned in these situations can be very revealing; that people are not complying with rules or that there are problems with leadership and attitudes towards health and safety.
