The IOSH Working Safely course is for people at any level, in any sector, who need a grounding in the essentials of safety and health. It gives everyone at work an understanding of why they must ‘work safely’ – and does it in an enjoyable way.
The course is usually delivered over one day using a mixture of lectures, interactive exercises and videos. It is assessed by a multi-choice question paper and a multi-choice hazard spotting exercise.
IOSH Working Safely Course Content:
- An outline of Occupational Health & Safety
- Defining hazard and risk
- Identifying common hazards
- Improving safety performance
Upon successful completion of the course and assessment, students are awarded an IOSH Working Safely certificate and/or passport card.
At the end of the course candidates will be required to complete the IOSH two-part assessment paper to attain this qualification.
